BFC Creations – Where Thread comes to life!
I finished it!!! I think this has more stitches in it than any other combined design I have done thus far. Thank you for your wonderful digitizing work. I know no “horse people” so this work will be donated to a local church auction that supports local women’s shelters.
FYI, the label on the back is done on Ultra Suede. It makes a very classy label, right where you deserve to be!

I am sending a couple of photos of wall hangings I have done on felt without any puckering. One uses 5 designs to make a large 16 x 23 inch one, and one uses 6 designs to make a large 12 x 15 inch one.
I only hoop a piece of Stitch n Tear stabilizer by itself, adhering it to the inside of the inner hoop ring with sturdy 2 sided sticky mounting tape. The felt is held in place using a conservative amount of spray adhesive. I use the minimum amount of tension in the bobbin, around 12 – 15 grams and the upper tension just enough to bring the stitch thread to clear the throat plate and let the stabilizer alone drag the thread to the next stitch. When you are done the fabric does not want to return to an original non tension state and remains stable.
Hugette has made a beautiful rendition of An Oriental Afternoon. The pieced blocks are a perfect border around the scene. I’m going to remember this because it is a fantastic way to make use of small pieces of fabric that are too good to throw away! Great Project Hugette!

This quilt uses the three Design Sets of the Fairy Wildlife Series. I am making a lap size quilt, but you can easily adjust the sizes. My main purpose in this Tutorial is to show you an easy way to create a unique and fun design. This first part does what I call the Ocean slice.

Sandra totally surprised me by stitching Myth and Mystery on a white Jean jacket. But wow – I love the way she looks.
From Sandra: Wanted to tell you I stitched the Myth and Mystery gal on the back of a white jeans jacket. Absolutely gorgeous. Her face, particularly her eyes, are mesmerizing. Hope you’ll digitize more large format designs like that. I have a stack of blue jeans jackets waiting for your special designs. Hint…hint

He will still get a frame, but he looks great on the wood John! I was working on an art quilt this morning and Duma had exactly this expression as he sat in the middle of it.

Hi Suz,
Thank you for sending me the train set again. I have included 2 pictures of the skirts. The single skirt is the one I finished today for my nephew and the other one is his kids when they got their skirts last year. As you can see it was easier to fold the skirts in half so all 6 trains would show but not take up all of the den.
