Paula’s Cat Wall Hanging

My wall hanging  last night is done with cat’s outlines and silhouettes. I stitched out the cats then planned my wall hanging using 9 patches and disappearing 9 patches. I had a charm package of animal print I had fun using that. I did quilt it in the ditch and put a hanger on it so I can put in on my wall.

That’s so cute Paula and my favorite subject!  🙂   Suz

Bob’s Feline Placemats

Freebies used 121, 276, 505, 655, 661, 713, 917, 920, 1001

This set of six place mats began with a bag of upholstery fabric samples and remnants most of which are chenille.. I wanted both consistency and difference in the design of the individual mats. I choose to use a gray scale for the embroidery in order to provide a unifying factor and to eliminate the competition with the bright colors of the fabrics. While the arrangement of fabric blocks is the same in each of the 12″X18″ mats, the sizes wary depending on the size of the embroidered square block. The unique embroidery compositions have been obtained by varying the size and orientation of the freebies. Some compositions use multiple and truncated application of the freebie design

I love the way you have combined the designs into very similar but yet different arrangements!  It adds so much interest to the table!  I can also see a whole quilt done similar to these mats.  Thank  you Bob!   Suz

Julie’s Picasso Cat Quilt

I live in Gawler, South Australia.

On my show stand on the weekend I had on display the beautiful geometric Picasso Cats embroidery design.

I was inundated with customer wanting to know where I purchased the design, and just loved the stitched out quality of the designs.

I thought I would send through the feedback and pictures of my lap quilt.

I adore your quilt Julie!!!  I still have my Picasso Cats stitched waiting to be made into a quilt.  LOL  someday!!!   Suz

Paula’s Cat Wall Hanging

I finished my wall hanging  last night. It is done with cats outlines and silhouettes. I stitched out the cats then planned my wall hanging using 9 patches and disappearing 9 patches. So cute Paula!  Great way to use the cats.   Suz

Sunny’s Pillows

I don’t know if I ever showed these pillows for my oldest daughter’s sofa (which is red).  She loves them.  One is Feline Stare and the other is the Sagittarius.  They look stunning on her red sofa.  You and she seem to really love cats!!  Keep up the great work Suz but at some time you have to retire!
and for a grandson, who also loves kitties, a pillow for his bedroom

I can’t see me retiring Sunny!  I’ll go with my mouse in my hand  LOL   Suz

Sunny’s Cat Totes

Last Christmas I made seven denim totes, each with a different Picasso Cat on each side, as Christmas gifts for my two daughters and grandchildren.  Everyone loved them, and I was asked to make more.  I have made three more as gifts and now I have one left for me!!  I used black or brown heavy denim, webbing for handles and my family uses them for grocery totes.  Here are two.  I used Picsasso Kitten, BFC2203-09 on one side and the left Picasso Cat, BFC320671-02 on the other side.  My youngest daughter brought hers to a Trader Joe’s store near where she lives here in Northern California and the entire staff ooh-ed and aah-ed at it!  Kudos to Suz.

Sunny – I LOVE all your projects. They are always so professional looking. Suz

Sunny’s Tote Bags

I almost forgot to send these along.  The last two of nine!  These are of dark brown denim; the others were black denim.  They are actually larger than they look, because the bottom is folded as are the sides.

Everyone LOVES them, Suz!

I made 9 of them for Christmas gifts on denim grocery totes, and one

daughter said the store employees at Trader Joe’s (a high-end grocery

chain on the West Coast) crowded around her to look at hers and even

took photos.  She insists I should make more to sell!!!  I just finished

stitching out the kitten on its back and one of the trios you split up.

These will be my 13th kittens!  The lady across the street (my Tai Chi

partner) got two on her tote bag and when a visitor friend of hers saw

it, she wanted one too!  So here I am, stitching yet more kitties!  I

swear Suz, these things are so very popular.  First, they are colorful

and not dense, and second, they are very well digitized.  You deserve a

medal for these little felines.  Just a note to tell you how popular

they are here in the San Francisco Bay area!!!

Sunny

Great job as always Sunny!!!
