Hazel’s Christmas Tablecloth

have attached pictures of my entry for this.

It is a Christmas tablecloth, the poinsettia and the cones are from BFC 1294.

That poinsettia is so beautiful I just had to use it as the centre piece, and the pinecones are scattered around it, with one in each corner. The cloth is for my own use, and I intend to sew my name and the date onto it now I have taken the pictures.  I apologise for the poor quality of two of the pictures, it is a very dull cloudy afternoon.

Hazel – I love this for many reasons but one is taking what I present as a handbag and making such a great tablecloth!  I often wish I had a staff where I could have a bunch of projects made for each design, but that might be a little way’s off 🙂  Thank for for a great project!  Suz

Marge’s 3 Little Children

Attached is my entry in the contest.  I love these 3 kids and when I was about their age we had a little black and white dog.  I think that was one of the reasons I bought this.  The little girl in the red dress is a close second.

Great picture Marge – I bet a lot of people could identify with the 3 kids:)  No one did Christmas like Fred did 🙂   Suz

Patricia’s Christmas Table Mat

I used only the one bird (bluejay) for this project BFC509-09 – did a dresden pattern (first time) and placed it on a poinsettia red silk type fabric – for a centre piece on a table for Christmas – I will probably do another couple for gifts for Christmas as well as doing the Wreath I just purchased – – hope this is okay for the contest

Great Job Patricia!  Very Creative use of a circle too.  Thank you…Suz

Sandra’s Nativity

I want to thank you  for giving us so many designs that when done  they are breath taking.   I have showed this one to  so many people  They cannot believe  it was done on a sewing machine, also  this was the very first large  machine embroidery design and to be honest I thought it would be  more than I could do I almost didn’t do it  just because I was not a seasoned embroiderer.  I am so glad I did.  I get so much praise on this design. I have the last supper  but when I purchased it I did not realize I couldn’t do it  my machine will only go up to 100 color changes  it also would not let me split the design so please ask Fred  if he could possible  work on that  I know so many ladies that would purchase it.
Thank  everyone for all they do  we are truly blessed to get  the quality we get.  My all of you have a Blessed New Year
Sandra

Beautiful Job Sandra 🙂  thanks for sharing with us…Suz

Hazel’s Christmas Tree

I used scraps of upholstery fabric for the floor and walls. The tree skirt was just a piece of fringe I bought.   The tree decorations are just glued on gems and small curled gold ribbon.   I had a lot of fun stitching this, and would love to do another with the little lights.

Fantastic background – love the idea of the corner.  It adds so much realism to the embroidery.  great job – Suz

I love the idea of using upholstery fabrics for the background!  I’ve often had small pieces of really pretty fabrics like this and couldn’t bring myself to get rid of them.  I will remember this from now on!  Thank you Chris – Suz
