When Genene sent me these photos, she made a point to let me know she had these framed to hang in her home. She makes so many things for others I was glad to hear she took care of her and Mark too. Beautiful Genene!
“Thought you’d like to see the finished Solar System Quilt(which started the whole project of sending me the designs in all formats)… Some of the designs in the center row are from the Outer Space designs.
This is for my granddaughter who loves astronomy and is planning to go into the Air Force ROTC program, then into Aerospace Engineering.
Have a great day, Jerry”
It’s me Pat in Kansas, I thought you might like to see “Lady Bug” that I stitched. This is the most amazing digitizing I have ever seen. You are a fantastic artist. Thank you so much for this beautiful work of art.
“Hello . A few years ago we were in Florida and my husband purchased a number of embriodery designs at a garage/ estate sale.
BFC712 Large Blue Heron was amongst the designs he purchased for me. I did the design for myself and now my daughter wants me to put it in a quilt show in Alisa Craig this spring.
Attached is a pic of how I do flat FSL. This is the plastic that we use for needlepoint. I cut it to the size that I may need, put the embroidery in it and clip it down. I can rinse and hang it to dry without ever touching the lace till it is dry. Find out that nothing ever stretches this way.
Karen has been working on this quilt set. I hope she will send u s a photo when it’s done!
“here ya are — am taking the 2nd in the set the potted plants– and making blocks to add around the shed with sashing
going to make a very nice quillow to throw over the chair Or tuck up into the pillow. Am taking the smallest size and going to remake it for the pillow slip . I used the largest for my quilt are you making a bench for the garden hint hint LOL”
Dagmar does a lot of beautiful work and she told me about her pillows. I think theloepard pillow is especially interesting. Compare it to the actual design and you can see how different the colors are. And what a wonderful feeling they give the design! I can see a desert/jungle/ etc awash with all kinds of colors. She did a great job with Sally Kings Lady too.
“Here is a picture of a design I put near the ankle of my Niece’s jeans. It is the current free design BFC30826MD. I used a cut away stabilizer because the jeans had some stretch in them, and BFC thread which I, and my Babylock machine love both for quality and price. I opened the inseam, used a #12 sharp needle and had no problem stitching through the flat fell seam. My niece said she got several compliments from her co-workers last casual Friday.
Thanks, Barb ”
