Caroline’s Poppies

Hi Suz, I couldn’t wait to embroider your poppies so I’m attaching a picture my version!  They are so realistic looking – you did a fantastic job digitizing them! They get a place of honour in my home! Thanks for an awesome design! Caroline

I love the way you put these together Caroline.  The orange and red border really make them stand out!  Great job.   Suz

Colleen’s Graceful Vase

Hello Suz

Well I did complete the wall hanging of Graceful Vase.  Have to say that I really should have repeated the top six silk blocks too as they are very slightly narrower than the others which I completed on cotton.  Was very determined and from a distance it doesn’t look too bad, especially if the ‘looker’ is not an embroiderer or quilter.

Thanks for the help

Colleen –  I like the long rod – it balances the wall hanging really nicely.  Suz

Sunny’s Gorgeous Asian Quilt

I’ve attached two jpgs of a quilt I made last year for our local quilt show.  It contains a Geisha panel and six Geisha heads from your sets, and on the back is a set of larger Samurai warriors.  It won second place in the wall hanging category!  It hangs with a bamboo rod.

Sunny

I can really see why this quilt won a prize!

Marge’s Beautiful Heron

From Marge:

*Hi Suz,

Finally got the Herron put on a shirt.  I did do it on the nylon mesh and maybe some of the feathers didn’t come out quite right but I am happy with it.

I am always afraid to embroider right on a garment.  This shirt was a little pricey and I would have been upset if the design screwed up.  This way if I get tired of the shirt I can remove the embroidery and put it on something else.

Thought you would like to see it done this way.

I would never have guess this design came out so great using this method!  I’m in awe of some of your work Marge. 🙂  Suz
