A very sophisticated Bathroom!

Dagmar and her husband do a wonderful job of decorating their home.  So often bathrooms are done in pastels, but this one really pops!  They used our lady for the picture.

…You might remember me sending you a picture of our living room, well here is attached a picture of our bathroom with the lady design we purchased from you.

The Passion of Christ

It took a while to get everything together, but I finished the wall hanging at last!  I ended up using two layers of soft medium weight stabilizer for the designs.  I used a museum binding and have tabs on the back for hanging.  The sashing is a metallic ribbon, so it’s a little puckered.  But, overall, you can see the designs came out lovely!  It really made a nice Easter display.  Thanks for you help and advice!

My next project is the Eagle Owl — a pattern I bought years ago.  I’m focused now, so I’m really excited to get started on that challenge.  I’m even thinking of doing it on balsa wood!

Are there really two in there??????

Bronk especially hates to be picked up. Getting him to the vet when necessary is a horrible ordeal.  The Vet suggested we put the carrier down and let them get used to it.  I think they’ve gotten used to it!  This is a normal size carrier for a regular smaller cat.  I don’t know how they’ve managed to stuff their combined 36 pounds in there.  LOL

At first I thought the paw sticking out belonged to Bronk (whose face you see) but that is Duma’s.  I know cats like warm spots, but it’s 87 degrees out today  it has to be really hot in that carrier  LOL

Always time for Christmas……

Hi Suz,

It is time for Christmas trees to appear again.

Five years ago I stitched your  Large Christmas Tree 2012  (BFC-1220) on a single sheet of balsa wood that was 18″ x 26″ and framed it to a completed size of 20″ x 27″ as a wall hanging.

This year I again used the design to make another wall hanging and during the five years it had grown and needed a 22″ x 30″ piece of balsa wood, framed out to a finished size of 24 1/4″ x 33″ and took on a trimming of lights.

Tiger Quilt

Tiger quilt made for friend. King size, log cabins are 6″. Sorry about the blurry pic, but hopefully I’ll be able to get a  better one when I can find someone to hold it up for me…(maybe two or three someones)
