Theresa’s Sally King Spring Hare

Hi Susan,

I just thought you might like to see the “Spring Hare” stitched out on a table runner I made for Easter/Spring.   At first I thought it was very strange as the colors I used were darker than I wanted, but he’s cute either way.   Thanks for having such nice designs.

Annette’s Tigers

Annette first stitched our Tiger in it’s normal colors, then she talked to me about doing a white tiger.  I gave her some ideas and she did a fantastic job! Please always feel free to contact me about an idea you might have or how to do something.  🙂 Suz

From Annette:    Hello, wanted to show you my tigers and wasn’t sure about blog if you did or I. I used three whites for the white tiger and as you can see i flipped him. Hope you like. The plan is to frame them but haven’t gotten that far.

I love using the different whites – they add life and substance!  Suz

Peggy’s Zodiac Quilt

Hi Suz, this is Peggy in North Pole, Alaska. Haven’t put batting and back on this quilt. Thought you would like to see its progress. Trying to decide how to quilt top together. Difficult for me to quilt with my machine so contacted a friend with a long arm. After Christmas we will decide what to do, maybe just highlight each square. Peggy

I love the soft, frosty colors Peggy!  Suz

Denise’s Winning Entry

Denise won the Crazy Quilt contest from the Year 2012.  Here is her Entry:

Suz,
Here is my entry into the Crazy Quilt contest, I have used all the designs from BFC1179 plus 5 freebies, FBFC246, FBFC317, FBFC699, FBFC626, Classic monogram font border and BFC516-31.
I needed a new lunch kit and was originally going to make the bag as designed but then it evolved as I needed pockets for silver wear, napkins, salt and pepper and my wallet and keys. I wanted these to zip closed for security and i needed stretch pockets for my coffee and water bottle. I made it out of water proof outerwear fabric, embroidered and interlined it with super stable then lined it with another waterproof outerwear fabric. I am very pleased with the results.
